The Green Horizons Collective, INC. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that equips future generations with the knowledge and skills needed to champion environmental stewardship within their communities and beyond. Through innovative educational programming and hands-on experiences, Green Horizons Collective inspire young leaders to make eco-conscious decisions. Together, we build a world where the connection between people and the planet is at the heart of every action.
Our Why
We live at a pivotal time! The impacts of the climate crisis have reached new heights: currently 3.6 billion people – roughly half the world’s population – already living in areas that are highly susceptible to the effects of the climate crisis and the vast majority don’t have the resources to adapt. We still have some time to act before irreversible damage is done.
As daughters of educators, co-founders Jasmyne Spencer and Savannah McCaskill, have witnessed that practical, compelling, hands-on educational programs have a unique power to inspire and catapult positive change. We believe in the power of green thinking because where knowledge meets nature a brighter future unfolds.
